Since 1975, Placentia Yorba Meals on Wheels has been a dedicated, private, non-profit organization serving the communities of Placentia, Yorba Linda, and Anaheim Hills. Our mission is to provide nourishing meals to homebound, elderly and disabled individuals who are unable to prepare or obtain adequate meals for themselves.
What Does Meals on Wheels Do?
Delivers three nutritious meals Monday thru Friday right to your door.
Allows you to remain self-sufficient and independent in your own home if you are unable to shop for and prepare your own meals.
Maintains a network of trained, dedicated volunteers from your own community to provide a safe, friendly and reliable delivery of your meals.
Daily visits ensure that relatives will be immediately contacted if there are any concerns or questions about your welfare.
Volunteers are the heart of our organization. Over 200 volunteers from our community donate their time to deliver a smile and a meal. Collectively, they deliver 15,000 meals a year. It's a wonderful opportunity to make new friends and provide a much needed service in your own neighborhood.
We always welcome new volunteers to deliver meals. Deliveries are made Monday through Friday, between 10:30am and 1:00pm.
